Role Overview

The Zero Carbon Company supports the hospitality industry with their carbon reduction ambitions, providing products, services, and expertise to help companies measure their emissions, develop hospitality-specific reduction plans, and comply with stakeholder expectations. Representing a third of the industry, the Zero Carbon Company works with operators individually on their climate action plans and the hospitality sector collectively to design and implement an industry-wide net zero roadmap.

It does this in two ways. Firstly, the Zero Carbon Forum is a not-for-profit collaboration of hospitality operators. It provides members with best practices, annual benchmark reports, collaborative initiatives, and monthly working groups. Members include leading brands such as McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, Wetherspoons, Wagamamas (and many more) with whom we have strong relationships at the CEO and Board level.

Secondly, Zero Carbon Services provides software and data to help hospitality businesses understand their carbon footprint, reduce their carbon emissions, and handle their legal and obligatory reporting.

We’re a small team that is growing fast and looking for individuals to help us turn our growth into meaningful action on climate change.

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager who is passionate about net zero, a regenerative future, and celebrates all things hospitality to help us engage and lead the UK hospitality sector on its transformation journey.
